Love Island’s Ron and Lana loved-up on night out after co-stars’ splits

Love Island runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins proved their love looks built to last as they headed out for dinner and drinks in Manchester over the weekend.

The couple don't get to see each other as often as they like as Ron lives in Essex while Lana is in Manchester — but when they do spend time together, they always seem to have a great time.

The couple, both 25, were spotted heading to Menagerie Bar and Restaurant on Bank Holiday Monday and walked hand-in-hand with big smiles on their faces.

Lana wore a sleek off-white blouse with black jeans and a black denim jacket, which she paired with pink trainers and glamorous make-up. Ron wore a Givenchy jumper, blue jeans and statement white trainers.

The couple's date comes just after Ron revealed he has plans to move in with Lana later this year. The pair, who came second in this year's winter edition of the ITV2 dating show, got off to a rocky start in the villa — but since leaving the show in March, their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

With more than 200 miles between them, Ron is looking forward to kicking the long-distance to the curb and moving in with Lana.

"It's not forever. Every relationship at some point, it's natural to move in together," Ron told the Sun. "It's weird we get so many questions like 'when are you moving in?' and you're like… baring in mind we've only been together a couple of months, one of her big goals and one of my big goals is to buy a place up there, and down here, have our own bases."

The couple's date comes after fellow finalists Samie Elishi and Tom Clare called it quits just a month after finishing third in the show.

And former contestants Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda have also gone their separate ways, a representative for Olivia confirmed in early April.

According to a statement given to Goss.ie, an Irish celebrity news site, it seems that the challenges of post-villa life took their toll on the couple. "Things weren't the same between Olivia and Maxwell after they left the villa. Life has been hectic and they both decided it was best to end things'" the statement read.

"Olivia is happy to focus on herself right now and has a lot of exciting work projects coming up, including a role in the next Fast & Furious movie. It’s sad it didn’t work out but there’s no hard feelings between them."
