Former Married At First Sight UK stars Dan McKee and Matt Jameson have today announced that they've split, sharing the sad news with fans on Instagram.
The pair, who were together for two years, have revealed that they're better off as friends, and have called an end to their romance.
Sharing the news to Instagram, Dan wrote: "Hey guys! As you all know, we have been on an incredible adventure together the last two years and we have given ourselves every opportunity to make things work as a couple, but over the last few months we have realised that we are actually better as friends."
He continued: "Break ups are never easy, even when amicable, but we can’t thank you enough for your support and kindness following our journey together.
"There’s nothing but love and good energy between us, and we feel very lucky to have found each other in our lives. Just sadly not as a couple! And although we are parting ways, we will always continue to support one another.
"Sending love to everyone. Dan and Matt xx"
Fans of the pair were quick to comment their condolences to the couple, with one writing: "So sorry to hear it didn't work out. But yous have a fab friendship from it all xxx"
Another wrote: "Oh! I’m so sorry it didn’t work out for you both! You’re both amazing people, you’ll both find your happy ever afters."
While a third added: "I'm sad to hear your news but pleased it's a good break up. You are both fabulous."
