Piers Morganhas leaked a text message he received from Susanna Reid on social media.
The pair used to host Good Morning Britain beforePiers’ explosive exit in March 2021where he stormed off set.
Since leaving the popular ITV morning programme, Piers has landeda new TV deal with brand new channel TalkTVtitled Uncensored, which will air each weeknight evening.
The show has been described as a "fearless forum for lively, intelligent debate’ that will include interviews as well as expression of controversial opinions".
With Uncensored set to make its debut on Monday 25 April, Susanna sent Piers a message to wish him luck.
Sharing a screenshot of her WhatsApp message on Twitter, Piers wrote: “BREAKING NEWS”.
Susanna’s message comes after Piers revealed that his former “work wife” was yet to wish him luck.
Speaking toThe Sun, he said: “There’s still time, I’m sure she will.
“It’s difficult. You know, we had this arranged marriage that turned out to be very successful.
“And then we suddenly got divorced one afternoon.”

“That was it,” Piers went on. “So we stay in touch through texting and stuff but it was all a bit dramatic and sad."
Piers announced his new show last month via social media, where he said he was “delighted” to be returning to live television.
He said: "I’m delighted to now be returning to live television with a new daily show whose main purpose is to cancel the Cancel Culture which has infected societies around the world. I want it to be a platform for lively vigorous debate, news-making interviews, and that increasingly taboo three-letter word: fun. I also want it to annoy all the right people.”
Ahead of his return to live TV, Piers has expressed his desire to “uncancel those who have been cancelled”.
“You shouldn’t be shamed or vilified or cancelled for having an opinion, unless you genuinely are spewing hateful bigoted stuff,” he toldThe Scotsman.
“I don’t intend to do that; I’ve never done that before in my broadcasting time. I want to be a broad church to any kind of view.”
President of Broadcasting at the company, Scott Taunton, echoed similar sentiments ahead of the new news channel making its debut.
He said: “TalkTV will be a new voice for viewers who are interested in straight talking opinions and expert insight on news and current affairs.
"The channel has been designed for the streaming age and will be accessible on linear TV as well as via social and on demand programming."
