Susanna Reid is forced to pull out of GMB presenting duties AGAIN after losing her voice at the NTAs as she gives update on her diagnosis
Susanna Reid has announced she will not be presenting Monday’s Good Morning Britain as she continues to recover from a throat infection.
The ITV star pulled out of her GMB presenting duties at the last minute on Wednesday morning after losing her voice at the previous night’s National Television Awards.
Sharing an update on her Instagram page on Sunday evening, the presenter revealed she would not be on screens on Monday as she follows advice from a specialist.
‘Sorry not to see you tomorrow. Back in full voice v soon I hope, thanks to specialist treatment and your brilliant tips,’ Susanna wrote.
She later shared a video to her Stories, with her voice clearly affected by the ‘mild infection’.

‘Quick update of my voice which as you can hear is not one hundred percent. I feel absolutely fine,’ she told her followers.
‘But the specialist that I saw on Friday said not to risk it until it is better. Thank you for everyone at GMB for stepping in and to all of you for all of your brilliant tips.’
‘I have been steaming and also doing honey and lemon and turmeric and ginger tea and drinking tons and tons of water, I will see you soon.’
Susanna was replaced on Good Morning Britain at the last minute for Wednesday’s show – after losing her voice at the NTAs.
Charlotte Hawkins stepped in at the final second for the presenter, 52, as she took to the helm with co-host Ed Balls.
The change was announced at the start of the show as Charlotte said: ‘Good morning to you, this is a bit of an unscheduled appearance for me this morning!’
Ed explained that he had even seen Susanna that morning as she prepped in her dressing room and so was equally shocked by the change.
He said: ‘I was about to say, you know, I came into the studio as usual about 4:30am. Walked past Susanna Reid’s dressing room.

‘There was Susanna, as always, in her white dressing gown, getting ready for the show to come. This feels like a bit of a change!’
Charlotte – who was also at the NTAs – went on to say: ‘The reason is because you saw Susanna there, but we couldn’t hear her because she has unfortunately lost her voice.
‘She is here in the building with us. Here she is, Susanna, how are you?’
A poorly-sounding Susanna, explained: ‘I’m fine, I just can’t speak! I don’t know whether it was the heat, inflaming my vocal cords.
Stunning: The brunette beauty looked incredible in a figure-hugging red sequin gown that boasted an asymmetrical neckline and flowing cape detailing at the NTAs
‘It’s funny because of course it was the NTAs last night and when I got my cab to leave, the driver said: ‘You’re the very first person to leave the NTAs, you’re obviously not partying’.
‘Of course, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, so there’s no reason I can understand why I’ve completely lost my voice.’
Charlotte replied: ‘The irony of it, we were all there together last night. You left first, you hadn’t been drinking anything, I didn’t leave as early as I should have done.’
Susanna continued: ‘I’m really sorry, I can only apologise, but thank you Charlotte for stepping in! I didn’t want to inflict this on our wonderful viewers for a whole three hours.’
