Vicky Pattison is ‘over the moon’ as she receives good news amid fertility journey

Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison is 'over the moon' after sharing a positive update about her fertility journey.

The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! winner, 35, is documenting her journey to becoming a mum with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan on a new special for Lorraine.

During the show, a scan of the TV presenter's eggs revealed that V icky was in a 'strong position' for egg retrieval.

The star reacted tearfully to the news, saying: "I'm emotional. It could have something to do with all the hormones. These little rascals are going to be my babies someday. I'm over the moon!"

This meant that Vicky was able to move onto the next stage of her journey and opted to freeze three eggs and take six eggs through the fertilisation process.

A call from the clinic revealed that three of her embryos had survived, bringing her one step closer to becoming a mum.

The star, who has been receiving treatment at London's Women's Clinic, tearfully responded to the news, saying: "That's pretty amazing. It means three little 'me' and Ercan's are ready to go in the freezer. I'm over the moon."

In recent years, Vicky has been incredibly open about her fertility journey, and now she is taking fans on the highs and lows of her journey on the Lorraine special.

Vicky revealed to viewers that although she and Ercan are 'super happy', she isn't ready to be a mum yet.

"We have been together for four years. We are engaged, have a house, two doggies, but we kind of don't feel ready. I want to enjoy being his fiancée and then I want to enjoy being his wife, and when the time's right, I want to enjoy being a mother," Vicky explained.

Earlier this year, Vicky faced heartache when doctors told her that her ovarian cyst meant she would have to pause her fertility journey.

After months of worrying, the reality TV star's mind was put at ease when doctors told her that the cyst had disappeared.

My Journey To Motherhood shows Vicky and Ercan's journey from the start, including a visit to the fertility clinic.

Speaking to viewers on the show, Vicky said: "So, today is one of the first steps. We've got to get loads of tests, [to] make sure everything's okay. If I can help spread the word and provide education about this, then I think it's a good thing. I'm really glad we're doing it with Lorraine."

The reality star also opened up about the toll fertility treatment can have on your body and relationship.

Sitting next to her on the show, TOWIE star Ercan told Vicky: "I'm nervous about the aftermath," to which she responds, "The hormones and the mood swings?"

Ercan smiles and replied: "Yes, that's what I'm scared of."

Vicky also got candid about the journey with her own mother, saying: "I am about to start the egg-freezing process. I got really serious about it last year and started speaking to my mum about it."

To which Vicky's mum, Caroll, responded: "When you first told me about it, I don't think I quite understood until you explained the process."

Vicky Pattison – My Journey To Motherhood will air during Lorraine on Tuesday, 20th June.
