X Factor and Hollyoaks star Ray Quinn becomes dad for second time as fiancée gives birth

Ray Quinn has revealed he's become a dad for the second time as his fiancée Emily Ashleigh has given birth to a baby girl.

The 34 year old, who is already dad to son Harry with his ex-wife Emma Stephens, took to his Instagram feed to announce the happy news with a black and white photo showing two polaroids – one of himself and Emily holding their little one while a second sees their girl wrapped in a blanket.

Sharing her unique name Summer, he wrote in the caption: "Summer Reign Quinn 04.09.2022

"Indulging in every special moment with Our beautiful, precious little baby GIRL!" with a pink heart emoji.

Fans were quick to react to the couple's happy news.

One gushed: "Congratulations to you both and big brother Lucian. She is beautiful, image of her Daddy xx Well done Emily," with several heart emojis.

Another wrote: "Aww congratulations to you all! Gorgeous name xx".

"Aww congratulations guys!" another commented with a clinking glass emoji. "What a little beauty xxx".

"Congratulations both. She is gorgeous," wrote another with the clapping hands emoji.

The couple announced the news of Emily's pregnancy in March, with the happy couple sharing a stunning video on Instagram where they were seen in a theatre.

Emily, dressed in a gorgeous white gown, walked slowly down the theatre aisle before joining Ray on stage.

The pair then started dancing together, with the camera panning to Emily's stomach and revealing a blossoming bump.

A beautiful soundtrack played over the video, with the sweet but simple caption: "Time to tell the world.. " followed by a white heart emoji.

The couple made their relationship public in 2017.

Ray told Star magazine at the time: "She's a school teacher and we made it official last June. It was fate.

"I believe whatever's meant for you won't pass you by. I can't stand dating apps. A text message or a picture on Tinder is absolutely pointless."

They announced their engagement in January 2020 after Ray popped the question on New Year's Eve, and last June they bought their "forever home", after a difficult year that saw Ray lose his father Ray Snr to cancer and his career coming to a stand-still.

Ray shared a photo of the couple with Emily's son Lucien, captioning it: "Words just can't describe this feeling… after one hell of a year, along with the advice and help from our family and friends we've managed to do this!! Our forever home!!! WOW!!"
