A YOUNG woman has revealed that she lives in a shed that her dad built her because she couldn’t afford to get onto the property ladder.
Kristin, a woman from Florida, explained that she and her dad turned a 12×40 shed into her very own tiny home.
And while it might be small, Kristin claimed that she loves her space.
The DIY enthusiast took to social media to show a close-up look at the tiny home’s renovation, leaving many open-mouthed.
In a short clip captioned ‘Shed to tiny home’, we saw Kristin’s dad get to work on transforming the empty shed.
Kristin had the job of choosing the paint colour for her kitchen cabinets – and she confirmed that she decided on a beautiful teal colour.

The DIY fan also gave her followers a quick look around the home, which at the time, during its renovation, was covered in boxes.
In another video, Kristin gave a tour of her completed, renovated shed, as she confirmed: “I love it.”
Complete with a stunning kitchen, modern bathroom and cosy living area, it’s no surprise that Kristin is thrilled with her home’s new look.
Kristin later opened up about the shed’s renovation, as she confirmed: “I’m all moved in! BUT I am waiting to do a full walk through video because there are a few things still not complete.

She then explained: “We used 4×8 foam insulation board , it was very easy to put in the ceiling.
“For the walls we used rolls of the fiberglass insulation.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @kristinc45, has clearly left many totally stunned as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a whopping 17 million views.
Social media users were left gobsmacked at the beautiful tiny home and many were keen to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Beautiful!”

At the same time, one DIY fan penned: “The colour of those cabinets are immaculate.”
