I wear underwear as outerwear – it might be over the top but I feel like a princess and look like Tinkerbell | The Sun

TYPICALLY, lingerie goes under your clothes, but festival fashion and runway looks are slowly changing the rules.

One woman said she feels like a princess when she styles her underwear over the top.

Beauty and lifestyle influencer Rowi Singh (@rowisingh) is always eager to try a daring fashion idea, as long as it's sparkly.

While she admitted she wasn't Coachella-bound, Singh posted a video modeling the magical look she would wear if she went to the festival.

"Get ready with me," Singh invited her followers, leaning in close to the camera as she held up a gauzy green outfit.

Then, she announced her grand scheme. She said, "I'm going to be turning myself into an adult Tinkerbell."

Before she could get dressed, Singh had to complete another vital step.

"Here's the makeup," she said, suddenly cutting to her fully made-up face. "Very much giving Indian Tinkerbell."

Now that she was ready to roll, Singh slipped on a pale green bikini to go underneath her festival clothes.

First, she pulled on a long, glimmering skirt in sheer pistachio-green material.

"The skirt is absolutely divine," she said, twisting side to side in the shimmering skirt.

It was the little things that made the look stand out. "I'm obsessed with the knot detailing right at the front," Singh said.

Next, she put on a sheer, ruffled bandeau with a bow on the front, and a dramatic duster jacket.

"I don't know what you call this," Singh said, lifting the long jacket off her shoulders. "It's like a cardigan that drapes all the way down to the floor."

Singh amended her description, saying the long cardigan really felt like "A cloak of sorts."

To finish the look, Singh put on her wedding jewelry, which she said she'd been eager to re-wear.

She also put on a pair of tall, shiny silver cowgirl boots.

Singh admitted she didn't have other shoes that complemented the outfit, but the outrageous boots totally suited the elaborate ensemble.

Between her cloak, her jewelry, and her intricate layers of shiny material, Singh felt like royalty.

"I don't even care if this is over the top," she sighed dreamily. "I feel like a princess."
