A BRIDESMAID was left mortified after suffering a wardrobe malfunction seconds before the wedding started – and still had to walk down the aisle.
The woman revealed her shoe snapped just as she was about to walk, and she was forced to barefoot instead.
Writing in to the Girls Overheard podcast, she said that was only the start of her ordeal.
She said: "My heel snapped off on my shoes as I was waiting to walk down the aisle as a bridesmaid.
"The music had started and I was on a 10 second countdown to walk.
"We had tiered dresses with our feet on show and I had no choice but to throw the shoes and walk barefoot down the aisle.
"My nerves meant I was a sweaty mess anyway, but walking down the aisle on the wooden floor, all you could hear was my sweaty feet sticking to the floor as I walked up."
"All I could think was, turn that music up now.
"It felt like I walked 10 miles up that aisle and the bride was raging."
Social media users have sympathised with the bridesmaid as the clip racked up more than 28,000 views
