A FEMALE electrician has taken to social media to show off what it’s like working as a “sparky”.
Stella Clark, a 19-year-old from New Zealand, who posts on TikTok under the username @stellaclark53, has shared videos to the video sharing platform showing off what it’s like working in the male-dominated industry.
Stella has amassed over 9,000 followers and 58.7k likes on the social media app and revealed that she is currently doing her first year of an electrical apprenticeship, which she started at the end of 2021.
Stella explained that she wants to document more of her electrical work, to encourage other women and girls to feel more comfortable in joining a trade.
The blonde-haired “sparky” has a pink tool belt and has shared videos of her at work – sawing wood, drilling holes and sorting electrical wires.

Stella revealed that she “loves” her job and wants to encourage other women to get involved too.
In the clip, we see the self-proclaimed “tradie lady” getting ready for a day at work.

Her clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 127.6k views.
It has 14.4k likes, 68 comments and 22 shares.
But to Stella’s surprise, many men commented on her clip, telling her that they were in love with her and would be distracted by her good looks if they worked with her.
Not only this, but many men branded her as "attractive" and "sexy".

A third man commented: “I'm in love.”
