I'm a master bargain hunter & make the best McDonald's fakeaway with Aldi buys – the exact list that'll save you £22 | The Sun

IT’S TRUE, we all love a good McDonald’s every now and then.

Whether we’re going in for our favourite McFlurry or stopping by after a heavy night out, it’s a go-to fast food chain that never disappoints.

But, unfortunately, we’ve all become a little more conscious of how much we’re spending in our daily lives.

Everything from supermarkets to fuel prices have gone up, making us all hold onto our wallets a little tighter.

McDonald’s is no different. Since the start of the year, they’ve made announcements over the hike of prices of their popular food items.

On February 15, the chain decided to raise the price of the Mayo Chicken from 99p to £1.19, a 20 percent jump, while a Medium Fizzy Drink has increased in price from £1.39 to £1.49.

Despite this, it appears one supermarket has made it its mission to ensure people get their McDonald’s fix in the form of a fakeaway.

Aldi has recently introduced a selection of foods, including nuggets, fries and hash browns, that are said to be dupes for the real thing.

Taking viewers to the store, bargain-hunting whizz Chloe Brewer, 35, explained: “Guys, did you know that you can have McDonald’s style food from Aldi and have your own takeaway night at home for less?”

Panning the camera over the fridge, she first gave viewers a good look at the pack of 12 chicken nuggets, which comes with a sweet chilli dip and BBQ sauce.
