A MIDSIZE fashion fan has revealed the best high street swimsuits for midsize girls – including a H&M must-have that’s perfect for those worried about their mum-tum.
Sophie took to TikTok to share her first impressions on a range of one-pieces, all priced between £12 and £25.
And while Primark did seem to have some flattering options, it was H&M’s offerings she recommended stocking up on.
Known online as @sophieclarewhite, the content creator regularly shares budget fashion hauls and styling tips with her 20,900 followers.
In a new reel, she said: “Let’s rate these swimming costumes for a midsize bod.”
First up – H&M black ribbed swimsuit with padded cups, now reduced to just £12.99.

She continued: “Already have the first one on. So this is H&M I believe that this one is a size 14.
“Now gorgeous material, cups in it. Ribbed material, very soft, feels supportive. Low back.
“This for me is a ten out of ten. It’s not riding up my butt either, bonus.”
Gesturing at her waist, she adds: “Do you think it’s cinching there? I think that’s really nice.

“Would buy this again in lots of different colours if it were available.
“Me going straight to H&M to see if there’s any other colours available.”
The fashion fan also went on to share her thoughts on a pink one-piece from Primark, currently only available in store.
“We got Primark in a medium. I did get this in a large as well… but the cups were quite tall.”
Pointing at her chest, she added: “Could do with a little padding there, that would look nicer. If it put it into a halterneck somehow?
“That fits really nicely, again not riding up my bum.
“I’m going to give this an eight out of ten because this situation could be better.
“If I’d got boobs that were bigger, it would probably be fine.”
Her third choice was another Primark number, their Crinkle Texture Scoop Back Swimsuit in purple, available online and in-store for £12.
“Sticking with colour and sticking with Primark.
“Boob situation looks loads better in this, but it is a medium and it feels really tight.
“I’m hoping if I get a large, then we’ll still get the boobage situation.
“I do like the low back as well, that’s cute.
“Get a large, see what happens. Six out of ten currently, if I get a large and it fits, eight or nine out of ten.”
Finally, Sophie also shared her thoughts on H&M’s One-shoulder swimsuit, priced at £24.99.
“I saved the best till last.
“It’s my kind of colours which I really like. I feel like it’s timeless.
“The stripes sort of guide your eyes down rather than horizontal.
“Love the one shoulder. Wasn’t sure I would.”
Shaking her shoulders side to side, she adds: “Can I move in it? Yeah, sturdiness bang on.
“Rating for me, 11 out of ten.
“I love it and I will wear this over and over again.
“I would also like to wear it as a body. I’ve tried it on with some trousers, let me show you.”
Pairing the swimsuit with a white linen shirt and beige linen trousers, she said: “H&M trousers, H&M shirt and I’ve got myself an outfit.”
Sharing another outfit option, swapping the trousers for Primark’s Texture Tie Sarong in ecru, now just £4.
“Also if you do feel a little bit conscious, grab yourself one of these.
“This is a cheap one from Primark.”
Fans loved her honesty, with the haul gaining more than 905 likes and 23,100 views.
