My neighbour built a fence on my property and refused to move it, so I took a chainsaw to it, they deserve it | The Sun

AFTER discovering her neighbours built a fence on her property, one woman took it upon herself to rectify the mistake.

The woman claimed that she tried to be “civil” with her next door neighbour, but was met with a refusal to fix the issue.

Getting fed up, she decided to organise the removal of the fence herself and shared a video on her social media to document the process.

Known as @unbewreathable, she shared a clip of two men using a chainsaw to cut the fence down.

While one dismantled it with a tool, the other took the planks off the fence and laid it down.

“Our neighbour put up a fence on our property,” she wrote over this.

And in the caption, the TikTok user added: “My neighbours fence is on our property…we’ve asked them to partner with us to correct it… they refused… so here we are!”

She then got the fence reinstalled into the correct area, making their yard significantly bigger than before.

The homeowner added: “The property lines are exactly where they’re supposed to be… those saying oh I would’ve taken a free fence – would you also take depreciation on your property?”

People were left annoyed on her behalf as one person wrote: “The neighbour was pretty brazen to fence so far over. They were probably taking advantage.”

Another shared: “You have every right to keep all of the property you bought. Not to mention they may have got away with it otherwise if enough time goes by.”

A third said: “It’s your property, you paid for it. It’s yours. Period. People aaaaaalways trying to get over!! Trust me you give a little….regrets!!”

Another offered: “You should plant some trees so you don’t even have to see them or the fence”.

This is the first time people have taken to social media to complain about rows with their neighbours.

One woman previously said she spent £9,000 on renovating her fence, but her neighbours turned it 180 degrees so they got the smart side.

Another complained about her neighbour building a 6ft wooden fence blocking the view…

And a third was left baffled after people all said the same thing after she built a privacy fence.
