These are the multipurpose bronzer and blusher buys we swear by and why | The Sun

WE love a beauty brand that is simple and easy, with many multipurpose items currently in our make up bags.

And as we head (slowly) towards the warmer months, a multipurpose blush and bronzer is a must have.

A triple-threat in the beauty business, you can use them to apply on your cheeks, eyelids and lips, as a blusher, bronzer or contour, eyeshadow as well as lip tint.

Multipurpose sticks not only make it easy when it comes to applying make-up, and are highly purse friendly, but they also make light work when travelling, or simply on the go and in need of a touch up.

You can glide the product straight on, and buff in with your fingers, beauty blender or a brush.

In some cases theses creations come with an in-built brush on the other end, which is simply genius – we're looking at you Nudestix.

The colours can vary depending on the look you want to achieve, your skin tone, and personal preferences, but we favour the peachy tones and soft rose, though the brave hearted may go bold with the darker purple hues on the three areas of their face.

From Nudestix and Glossier to Nars, e.l.f Cosmetics and more, we have found the best multifunctional beauty item you won't leave the house without – we don't.

Nudestix

Nudestix was one of my first foray's into multipurpose blusher sticks, and it converted me.

Not only is it super compact and perfect to fit into the smallest handbag on a night out, but the product itself is super blendable yet pigmented to provide the necessary coverage.

THAT'S A WRAP

You’ve been making wraps wrong – NEVER put the filling in the middle

The best part is this is a double ended design, so you have the coloured blusher on one end, and super soft brush on the other to blend in, which makes for fuss-free application perfect for on the go touch ups.

I rely on Sunset Strip hue, which may look particularly bold, but blends seamlessly so you won't be left with mega pink cheeks.

Glossier

Glossier's Cloud Paint may not be a blusher stick as such, but it is one multipurpose cheek, lip and eye product I simply adore.

It was one of the original products to launch, and one I continue to go back to.

It is super absorbing and hydrating, easy to apply and blend, but also buildable.A little goes a long way.

Simply dab a few dots onto your cheekbones, and wipe the excess along your eyelids and lips, for the perfectly natural but "done" look.

I wear the shade Dusk, which is perfectly peachy tones, ideal for winter and summer for a little sun kissed glow.

Jones Road

Jones Road is the new baby of Bobbi Brown, and it has caused quite the stir.

I have trialled the balms, but admittedly, I prefer the Lip and Cheek Stick, as it is slightly less messy and a fuss-free solution to adding a pop of colour to my face even on the dreariest of days.

These sticks are the most nourishing I have used, and leave a balmy residue, which is not tacky or greasy, but enough to hydrate your skin and achieve a light glow.

I use Chocolate Mousse and Rose hues interchangeably, although sometimes I apply both and blend for a touch of bronzer and pop of pink blush, though you could easily contour too.

Clinique

Clinique's Chubby Stick is arguable the OG of beauty sticks, and has truly stood the test of time.

The Chubby Stick Cheek Colour, and Chubby Stick lip balms, were some of my first beauty purchases, and I still call on them years later.

In fact, alternate between the Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm and the lip variation, on my cheeks and eyelids, and both achieve the same effect.

Clinique's Chubby Sticks are compact, easy to use, blend, and layer too. They are super soft and gentle on the skin, while also offering an array of colours to suit all skin tones.

Westman Atelier

For those shopping for a little more luxury, then Westman Atelier is a good place to start, a brand known and loved by celebrities.

The Baby Cheeks Blush Stick comes in five shades; from Bouchette and vibrant Poppet to soft blush Chouchette.

This creation can only be described as a skincare and make-up hybrid, as this creamy balm is enriched with plant-based actives to soothe and hydrate your skin, while also bringing your complexion to life with a touch of colour.

Nars

From the tinted moisturiser to the creamy concealer, there is no NARS product we don't love, and The Multiple is part of that most loved list.

The Multiple does exactly what it says on the tin – and can be used on multiple areas, for multiple reasons, though they do sell out fast.

There are plenty of shades to select from, some offer a more bronze look with a touch of gold perfect for those who love highlighter, as well as soft blush hues, or deeper shades to suit your skin tone and make-up look.

One thing about NARS' products is they are long lasting, and pigmented for the perfect coverage.

Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury has recently launched the Easy Lip and Cheek Wand, and it is a welcome alternative to the Beauty Light Wands, which work as a bronzer, contour stick, blusher and highlighter.

True to Charlotte Tilbury's signature style, the Easy Lip and Cheek Wand is easy to use, super hydrating, and nourishing, but perfect to achieve that iconic Charlotte Tilbury glow the brand, and British MUA is known for.

The formula is lightweight, and sets matte, perfect for that natural airbrushed look.

It comes in five colours, which you can blend together, or build using the one colour, depending on your preference.

What we love is it infused with super hydrating and nourishing ingredients, including raspberry leaf cell, papaya fruit extract, vitamin E, as well as safflower seed oil, which give your skin a boost of hydration and help to lock in moisture.

e.l.f. Cosmetics

For those shopping on a budget, we recommend e.l.f Cosmetics, as they deliver on quality and affordability.

The Monochromatic Multi Stick is a lightweight formula, which transforms from a cream texture to matte-like powder when applied to help create an au natural pop of colour.

Plus, it is cruelty free and vegan.

Milk Makeup

Milk has a whole host or products we know and love, including the multipurpose Lip + Cheek balm.

This creation has been created using mango butter, avocado oil and apricot oil, all of which are super nourishing on the skin, and make it easy to blend on the target area.

You can sweep on your cheeks, lips or eyelids directly, or dab using your fingers for more accurate precision.
