Aaron Carter’s descent from teen idol to soft porn star

Aaron Carter had already sold a million albums before he even turned 10.

The Florida native’s second album, “Aaron’s Party (Come and Get It)” in 2000 really pushed his career into the stratosphere, selling 3 million copies in the U.S. alone.

He began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon shows like “Lizzie McGuire” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” and was the support act for big brother Nick Carter’s group, the Backstreet Boys.

Another album followed — which went platinum — but his career never hit those pre-teen heights.

He competed in “Dancing with the Stars,” appeared in the Broadway musical “Seussical” and the off-Broadway musical “The Fantasticks” and performed live over the years but unfortunately, he began popping up in the news for the wrong reasons.

There were arrests for DUIs, lurid accusations against family members, including brother Nick, and trips to rehabs. There was even a live ‘celebrity’ boxing match against Khloé Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom.

He also had a tumultuous relationship with on-again, off-again fiancée Melanie Martin, with whom he shared a son named Prince.
