Andi Peters is best known for offering amazing prizes during the competitions segment on Good Morning Britain.

The former Live & Kicking host is a TV favourite and is known for his cheeky personality.

Who is Andi Peters and how old is he?

The 51 year old was born on July 29 1970 in London and went to Emmanuel School in Battersea, south London.

He was born Andi Eleazu Peters to Nigerian parents and has a sister called Rebecca and a brother named Johnny.

Andi started at the BBC in 1989 as a presenter on Children’s BBC for The Broom Cupboard where he appeared alongside This Morning host Phillip Schofield.

He then presented Live & Kicking, a highly popular children’s TV show which rocketed Andi’s fame, after he finished his presenter duties on The Broom Cupboard.

Andi presented the show for three years until his emotional exit in 1996 which was named one of the biggest tear-jerking moments in TV history by Channel 4.

The fun-loving presenter has worked across Good Morning Britain and Lorraine as a presenter of the competition slots for a long time and he also became the Dancing on Ice Live tour host in 2007.

The presenter is thought to be worth a whopping £3.1million as a result of his TV career.

Who is Andi Peters dating and has he been married?

There aren’t records of Andi ever having been married and he last confirmed his relationship back in 2016 when he revealed he was single.

Andi tweeted a picture in 2016 which hinted he was single. The post listed a group of superheroes and their unattached relationship status which he captioned: “Now that’s a fact I like!”

What TV shows and films has Andi Peters starred in?

The TV star took part in the first series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice in 2006 and was eliminated in the second week.

However he returned as a host of Dancing On Ice Extra with fellow contestant and former Loose Woman Andrea McLean.

And his love affair with the ice continues as Andi has hosted Dancing On Ice: The Tour, which sees contestants show off their routines around the country, since 2007.

In 2008 he illustrated his his culinary skills and finished runner-up in the third series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Andi has also starred on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Lorraine and is now the host of the competitions segment on Good Morning Britain

Aside from his TV career, Andi had a small part in Toy Story 2 in 1999 where he did the voice of Male Baggage Handler number one.
