There is one thing shoppers must do to take part in Amazon’s major sale event, plus some other handy tricks will ensure they get the best deals in Amazon’s major sale event.
Want access to the Prime Day sale? Amazon restricts access to this 48-hour bargain bonanza to only those with a Prime membership. Thankfully, you can sign-up for a 30-day free trial and unlock access to thousands of exclusive deals and next-day delivery nationwide
Amazon will be slashing the prices on thousands of items in the July Prime Day sale next week.
Taking place from July 11-12, this is Amazon’s first Prime Day this year and is the only one to be announced so far, although last year there was another in October.
The main thing to note is that you need to have an Amazon Prime membership to be able to access the sale and shop the best Prime Day deals.
Luckily, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial, so shoppers can get all of the benefits, which include free next-day delivery, without paying a penny for a month.
The two-day sale is always spread across all departments on Amazon, including must-have gadgets, kitchenware, household goods, appliances and more.
Although Amazon Prime membership is necessary to shop the sale, there are also plenty of other benefits to use after the Prime Day comes to an end.
Those who join will get free or same-day delivery on a huge range of items, access to a multitude of tv shows and films on Prime Video and over a thousand books and magazines on Kindle.
Unless it’s cancelled before the end of the free 30-day trial has ended, the membership auto-renews at £8.99 a month, but the trial period gives enough time to make use of all the benefits and decide on whether it’s worth the long-term commitment.

Amazon devices always feature huge price drops on Prime Day, so if you’re after some of the lowest prices on Kindles, Echos, tablets and Fire Sticks, you could be in luck.
Early-access deals are already starting to be dropped onto the site already, so it’s worth keeping an eye ahead of the start of the sale too.
For those with specific items in mind, it’s also a good idea to add items to the cart or saved list once signed in with your Amazon Prime account, so once the deals go live, it’s easy to check the prices and snag the products quickly.
This year’s invite-only system can also help shoppers get ahead with their purchases. Selected products will feature a ‘request invite’ button in the lead-up to June 11, which shoppers can press and will be notified if successful, before being sent a unique link to buy the product at it’s sale price.
