Has Avril Lavigne’s relationship status changed from “Complicated” to “Girlfriend?”
The “Sk8er Boi” singer, 38, sat next to rumored new flame Tyga, 33, in the front row at today’s Ottolinger show during Paris Fashion Week, with the outing coming after her shocking split from fiancé Mod Sun.
Dressed in a black-and-white pleated tartan skirt and an oversized white shirt with black writing down the sleeves, Lavigne leaned in close to the rapper during the show.
The “My Happy Ending” singer added black streaks to the end of her blond hair to coordinate with the outfit, wearing heavy black eyeliner, platform boots with silver soles and several layered chain necklaces.
As for her alleged new beau — who once dated Kylie Jenner — Tyga wore baggy gray cargo pants and a coordinating gray jacket with an orange fleece lining, adding a black T-shirt and bold chain necklace.
The two attended Leonardo DiCaprio’s Parisian party together last week and have been spotted on several other occasions, fueling rumors that Lavigne has moved on with the “Flames” rapper.
Lavigne has been rocking a number of statement-making looks during Paris Fashion Week, like a Vetements Hidden Message Blazer ($3,812) printed with phrases like “unbreak my heart,” “trust your instincts” and “be patient good things take time.”
While she seems to be enjoying Paris with her new love interest, the City of Light also has a connection to her former love; Lavigne and Mod Sun, 35, got engaged in Paris last March.
Lavigne’s rep confirmed to Page Six last month that she was no longer engaged to the “Perfectly Imperfect” singer — which apparently came as a surprise to her then-fiancé.
“They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that’s news to him,” his rep told Page Six at the time.

Days later, the singer, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, spoke out about the couple’s failed engagement on Instagram.
“In 1 week my entire life completely changed,” he wrote in a post. “I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken.”
At least they’ll always have Paris.
