Sebastian Lletget admitted that he nearly “crossed lines that should never be crossed” less than one week after an anonymous social media user posted evidence of him allegedly cheating on his fiancée, Becky G.

In a lengthy message posted to Instagram Monday, the FC Dallas soccer star confessed to making “bad decisions” and pushing boundaries, although he did not fully cop to being unfaithful.

“Over the last several weeks, during a moment I regret deeply, a 10 minute lapse in judgement resulted in an extortion plot,” he wrote.

The statement continued, “Since this person did not get what they wanted it has now become a public social media spectacle filled with more lies than any truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life, the one person who I should never take for granted or put at risk.”

Although the 30-year-old athlete claimed he has “never” met the “anonymous internet stalker,” he confessed he pushed “boundaries of lines that should never be crossed,” and called the experience a “wake-up call.”

He added that he has been hiding “personal trauma and acute anxiety” throughout his career, and the recent “chaos & pain” of his actions inspired him to start a “mental wellness program.”

Lletget concluded the post with an apology message to the 26-year-old “Shower” singer, whom he proposed to in December after six years of dating.

“To Becky, you have been the light in my life, my strength, who has always shown me unconditional love. Instead of honoring that love every day, I have done the opposite, hurting you and disrespecting the one person I love more than anything.

“I am so sorry and know I have to do whatever it takes to earn back the trust and love you deserve.”

The pro athlete turned off comments on the post, but fans were quick to slam him on other social media platforms for trying to use his mental health issues as an excuse for his actions.

“What does cheating have to do with a mental wellness program, like what?” one person wrote on Twitter. “Literally excuses, acting like it’s depression/anxiety.”

“becky g’s ex fiancé is proof that all men use their mental health as an excuse for everything,” another chimed in, while a third added, “What a long and weird way of saying that he cheated. Becky G deserves better.”

The plea comes after an Instagram account by the name of @ja29poo claimed that Lletget cheated on Becky in February while at a club with his teammates.

“I will upload the videos of that night at the Shoko nightclub, where I was present with Sebastion Lletget, @iambeckyg’s boyfriend,” the person wrote on their Instagram Story, which was translated from Spanish to English.

The user claimed they couldn’t post all the alleged proof because some of it is “very intimate,” including one “video of Sebastian naked.”

The person also shared snippets of alleged DMs and audio recordings between them and Lleteget.

Becky G has yet to publicly address the cheating rumors or her fiancé’s statement. Reps for neither party have responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
