Close sisters straddled each other as they pooed ‘so they were never apart’

A set of twins have admitted to being so close as children that they would use the toilet together so they weren't separated for any amount of time.

Jessica and Christina, both 37, still spend as much time together as possible – but as kids they took it to extremes.

The sisters, from Washington, hated being apart so much that growing up they would have designated toilet times so they'd be able to go together.

Appearing on the TLC series Extreme Sisters, Christina said: “When we were growing up we would share the toilet and go poop together, we would have to straddle each other.”

Jessica added: “Sometimes you’d have your arm around me like this and literally we would poop at the same time.”

The twins have since moved on from that time of their life but continue to use their secret handshake and struggle to live or vacation more than 30 miles apart as they claim it causes "breakdowns".

However, Jessica said she doesn't believe the pair are obsessed with each other.

She said: “I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with each other, I’d say we’re clinically obsessed with each other.

“We are together all the time, we hang out all the time.”

But on the show, the women fit right in as they appear alongside other twins who are equally close.

A clip from an upcoming episode shows that they are still happy to go to the toilet while the other is in the room with them.

In fact, the President of TLC, Howard Lee believes a close-knit unit like this is something others aspire to.
