A real-life Brazilian Barbie has got her dream house – which is of course bright pink – ahead of the much-anticipated summer movie featuring Margot Robbie.

Bruna Carolina Peres, known as the ‘Bruna Barbie’, has more than 20 million followers on TikTok and more than 451,000 followers on Instagram.

The Brazilian beauty is famous for living her life just like the ubiquitous American Mattel doll.

And she has certainly put in the effort to recreate the full Barbie aesthetic, even boasting a life-size, pink dollhouse all to herself.

The Bruna Barbie, who lives on the coast of Parana, in Brazil, told local media that she found inspiration for her love of the colour pink and her ‘Barbie style’ from movies such as Legally Blonde and Mean Girls.

And this summer, she will be able to add the full feature film Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling (as Ken) to her list of sources of inspiration.

And going by the buzz on social media, the Bruna Barbie is not the only one looking forward to the movie.

Social media users have been sharing numerous memes after a teaser of the movie dropped earlier this week.

The Bruna Barbie said: ‘I’ve always liked Barbie. Since I was a child I watched and admired the story.

‘But it was in my teens that I decided to adopt the style.

‘I love the colour pink and movies in a more preppy way.’

She added: ‘It got to the point that I was already known for looking like the doll and for wearing the same clothes as her.’

She said that when she started to become an influencer online, she decided that her whole life would be pink.

The influencer has more than 20 million followers on TikTok and over 451,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares glimpses into her life

She loves the colour pink so much, she even lives in a fully pink home, matching the Barbie aesthetic perfectly

Dream home: Bruna’s house, which is decked in out in all-pink decor, was designed by architects who were asked by the influencer to base the style on the 1990s doll houses

Bruna even commissioned architects to design her house based on 1990s doll houses.

Over the years, she gradually turned her pad into her dream home.

Among the pink features are a pink living room, pink fridge and kitchen, and pink car.

Perhaps most impressively, she even has a pink swimming pool – which is reportedly filled with pink water.

Judging by the photographs she shares with her followers on social media, it is actually quite hard to find something in her home that is not champagne pink, pale pink, baby pink, candy pink, or orchid pink.

Even the pool toys the influencer uses – including this retro blow-up flamingo – adhere to the influencer’s all-pink aesthetic

The Barbie movie, which stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, is set for release on July 21 this year.

Based on the fashion dolls by Mattel from Ruth Handler, the film is the first-ever live action Barbie film to hit the big screen.

It features a screenplay that Greta Greta Gerwig, who also directs the picture, co-wrote with her partner Noah Baumbach.

A trailer for the movie was recently released, giving a glimpse into the film and some of the design choices.

Throughout the picture, Margot cruises through Barbieland, a candy floss-coloured city that is filled with bright pastels.
