Liam Fox can currently be found lighting up screens on Emmerdale where he plays Dan Spencer.
The 51 year old has acted in the hit soap since 2011 and during this time has been involved a number of dramatic storylines.
His appearances on screen have led viewers curious to learn more about his life off screen.
When he's not on set on Emmerdale, dad of two Liam lives in Manchester with his wife who he married in 2020. Let's take a look.
Liam hasn't always been an actor and previously worked as a teacher at a school in Manchester.
It was here in 1997 he met his first wife, Nicole Barber-Lane, who was also a trainee teacher.
Both decided to quit teaching for acting and Nicole also landed a role in a soap, playing Myra McQueen in Hollyoaks.
The couple were married until 2015 and had two children together.
Announcing the split at the time, they released a statement saying: "It is with much sadness that we confirm the end of our marriage, though our family unit remains strong.
"We will always love and respect each other and are united by our children and family remaining at the centre of our lives."
The couple have also remained good friends, with a source telling Digital Spy at the time: "Liam and Nicole are divorcing as their relationship as man and wife has come to an end, but they genuinely remain good friends.
"They continue to socialise with each other and enjoy time together as a family with their children, also working on some projects together."
Liam went on to find love with long term friend Joanna Hudson who he studied at university with.
The pair met while studying Media and Performance at Salford University in 1993.
Before becoming a couple in 2017, Joanna suffered health problems when she was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumour.
Joanna has since said that the experience has made her appreciate her life with Liam even more, saying to the Daily Express that she was "weeks away from death."
She said: "I was seriously ill in 2015 and nearly lost my life, which makes me appreciate what I have with Liam even more.
"I nearly died from a tumour, when it was discovered I was weeks away from death."
Joanna is also an actor and has appeared in Emmerdale too, playing Ross Barton's Doctor, along with roles in TV programmes such as Children's Ward.
Liam proposed to Jo in 2019, with the couple announcing the news on Instagram in a selfie photo, captioned: "She said yes."
The couple married in 2020, in an exclusive ceremony covered by OK!, surrounded by celebrity friends including TV presenter Denise Van Outen and her daughter Betsy as well as Liam's co-stars Fiona Wade, Chris Bisson, Chris Chittell and Lisa Riley.
Liam even invited his ex-wife and her family along with the former couple's two children.
He told OK!: "I even had my ex mother-in-law at the wedding! If Nicole wasn’t on tour, she’d have been there too."
Talking about his wedding to OK!, Liam gushed about their special day, saying: "It was everything I’d hoped for and more, so I’m chuffed."
