Chelsea transfer news: Bookies reveal most likely players to leave this summer

CHELSEA are expected to move a handful of players on this summer with some notable first team stars unsure of their futures.

And bookmakers Betfair have compiled a list of the SIX most likely players to leave Stamford Bridge with defender Andreas Christensen the favourite at odds of 1/10.

The Blues broke their previous transfer record with the £97.5million signing of Romelu Lukaku last summer.

The striker's arrival was funded by the sale of fringe players including Tammy Abraham, Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi, whose departures raised over £100m.

And it is likely to be a similar situation this year, but with several key players possibly leaving for free.

Defensive trio Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen are all out of contract and could leave for nothing.

While any incoming transfer business may have to be funded by other sales.

Chelsea have sold well from their academy in the past and may look to do again as they look to remain competitive with Manchester City and Liverpool.

But who are the most likely players to leave Chelsea this summer?

Bookmakers Betfair believe centre-back Christensen (1/10) is almost certain to end his six-season relationship with the club.

The Denmark international, 25, has racked up 152 appearances but is out of contract in June and is expected to join Barcelona.

Club legend Cesar Azpilicueta, who's deal also expires in June, is also odds-on to leave West London at 8/11.

The 32-year-old has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, two Europa Leagues, the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup since arriving from Marseille for £7m in 2012.

Antonio Rudiger's future is more uncertain.

The German (6/4), like Azpilicueta and Christensen, is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club and his representatives are reportedly in "constant dialogue" with Real Madrid and PSG.

Chelsea have discussed a new contract with the player, but no new, improved official offer has been tabled.

Armando Broja is 3/1 to depart with Southampton known to want to make his loan spell permanent.

Attacking duo Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku are the last of the six at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively.
