Kim Kardashian Reportedly Thinks Kanye West's Instagram Suspension Was 'Fair'

Since earlier this year, rapper Kanye West has taken to Instagram to share many grievances in his life. Most notably, he used the platform to public slam his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her current boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Instagram recently suspended West’s account, and Kardashian reportedly felt that the move was “fair.”

Kanye West was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours

On March 16, West was locked out of Instagram for 24 hours.

TMZ reported, “A spokesperson for Meta tells us Kanye’s recent posts violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying. As a result, we’re told his account has been suspended for 24 hours — where he won’t be able to post, comment, send DM’s, among other things.”

This move from Instagram came just after West made a post about Trevor Noah and called the Daily Show host a racial slur. In the past, West posted a lot of negative things about Kardashian and Davidson, including alleging that Kardashian was kidnapping their children and giving Davidson the nickname “Skete.”

Kim Kardashian thinks the suspension was ‘fair,’ a source says

Kardashian has not publicly spoken about the suspension, but a source told People that she believes it was “fair.”

“Kim found the suspension to be fair, but her reaction wasn’t very dramatic,” the insider said. “She didn’t make a big deal out of it and joked that she needed a break for a day. All of Kanye’s posts have been exhausting for her though.”

They also added, “It’s very impressive how calm and collected she is able to stay. She is very happy with Pete. Her kids are doing great. She is trying her best to stay positive and focus on all the amazing things in her life.”

Kim Kardashian refuses to slam Kanye West publicly

Kardashian has spoken publicly about West a few times since their divorce, including telling the family court that her social media antics have caused her “emotional distress.” However, she seems to draw the line at outright criticizing him.

Kardashian recently told Variety why fans won’t see her use her family’s upcoming reality show, The Kardashians, to make West look bad.

“Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy,” Kardashian explained. “But I do believe in handling it all privately. I believe in championing publicly and criticizing privately. I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on my TV show. That’s just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good.”

She added, “I’m always really respectful of what the kids will see. The reality is, we’re always a family. We always will have a love and respect for each other. And even if there’s moments where it might not seem like that, there are so many moments that are super positive. I do think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time, but that they can get better.”
