Love Island’s Gemma Owen’s huge net worth as she signs six-figure fashion deal

She may have missed out on the Love Island crown, but villa bombshell Gemma Owen has a bright future ahead of her – including a personal wealth that looks set to far exceed the show’s £50k prize money.

The 19 year old daughter of footballing legend Michael Owen found love on this year’s show with Brighton fishmonger Luca Bish, 23 – but even without scooping that coveted win, the star has already bagged herself a six figure clothing brand deal, just one week on from leaving the villa.

The youngest star from this year’s series became the first contestant to bag herself a fashion deal earlier this week, as she reportedly signed the “six figure” deal with clothing company BooHoo to become the face of the brand.

But how much is Gemma Owen really worth?

While the exact extent of Gemma’s personal finances are unknown, the brunette bombshell is thought to be worth in excess of £1,000,000 with that number likely to skyrocket in the coming weeks following her successful run on the ITV dating show, which saw her catapulted to international stardom.

Prior to entering the villa, Gemma was competing in elite dressage competitions on an international scale – a vocation that earned her an impressive £136 an hour.

She also launched her own swimwear brand at the height of the pandemic called OG swimwear.

While the company itself did make a loss of £756 last year, according to Companies House, the tables appear to have turned, with one insider telling the MailOnline that Gemma’s management team and had been “bombarded” with brand endorsement deals, and the sales of her own swimwear line had “skyrocketed.”

“Win or lose, Gemma will make a fortune from Love Island through her fashion label. Since going on the programme orders have skyrocketed,” an insider said.

“And there's also been increasing interest from high street chains and online retailers who would like to discuss working with Gemma. She could make hundreds of thousands.”

The keen horse rider also boasts an impressive Instagram following, with more than 1 million fans intently following her account for updates.

This means she could potentially earn upwards of £8,800 for every post she makes, meaning at just one sponsored post a week, she would have surpassed the Love Island prize money in just 6 weeks.

Gemma likely also has savings thanks to her dad’s own wealth, as her famous dad is thought to be worth in excess of £54million – with his impressive finances having funded a considerable portion of Gemma’s horse riding career.

He also owns the lavish £4million family mansion that Gemma, along with her parents and siblings still call home.

The stunning pad boasts everything from a swimming pool to exclusive stables, with Gemma’s own beloved horse, Sirius Black counted among the equine residents.
