Love Island stars were out in full force over the weekend to get involved in Coachella celebrations. We saw Maura Higgins debut two different hair looks – one lengthy auburn look and one blonde shag – but 2021 winner Millie Court made a bid to overshadow Maura’s efforts with an early noughties Christina Aguilera-style makeover.
Millie, who usually wears her mid-tone blonde hair in a shoulder-length chop, surprised fans by adding extra-long extensions to her tresses to attend the music festival. She also switched up her colour with the help of some darker hair pieces. The result is very Xtina from her Dirrty days.
“Xtina who?” Millie captioned the Instagram snap, which has currently racked up 165k likes.
“The hair is everything,” commented one fan, while another wrote: “Your hair is gorgeous long.”
“Giving us Bratz Chloe Rock Angel vibes,” a third said.
Millie dropped some details on how she achieved the look, mentioning in the caption that she wore Beauty Works clip-ins to achieve the two-tone blonde colour. She also tagged her hairstylist Jay Birmingham in the snap, thanking him for his work.
Though the Xtina-like look comes as a surprise, we are used to Millie serving us different hair looks on the regular. A recent style which hit it big with her fans was a 70s shag cut that gave her usual blunt style a big twist.
She took to Instagram to give her 1.9 million followers a look at the retro layered cut. Her usual shoulder-length bob had been switched out in favour of long, loose waves and a flicked-out fringe. Very Farrah Fawcett, we thought, but Millie’s followers had plenty of other flattering comparisons.
“You look like Twiggy!!!” said one, while another added, ”You look like a model from the 60s.”
A third commented, “Sharon Tate vibes.”
“You so suit the shaggy ‘do and I’m incredibly jealous,” a fourth said.
We’re not sure if Millie is set to attend Coachella next weekend as well, but we can’t wait to see what beauty look she opts for if she does have a ticket!
