Nando’s is launching a new menu item nationwide – and peri peri fans are pretty excited.
The popular chicken chain recently teased the dish on Instagram.
It left its 410,000 followers’ mouths drooling with the snap, which appears to feature chips, chicken, melted cheese and spring onions.
Nando’s insiders also captioned the post with a date and cryptic clue, which reads “F_ _ I _ L _ _ _ ed C _ _ _ _.”
So can you guess what will be rolled out in hundreds of restaurants soon?
We’re pretty sure this means Nando’s will be launching a tasty new side dish on June 6 – and many of us are on the same wavelength.
One commenter said: “Fully loaded chips! Finally – no need to hack.”
Another asked: “Fully loaded chips everywhere now?”
And a third added: “Whatever it is, it will be leng because it’s Nando’s of course.”
People are pretty stoked by the announcement too.
One Instagram user said: “This is gonna be the best day ever.”
A second gushed: “Omg yes! I came back from my sabbatical just at the right time.”
Another tagged a friend and commented: “Nando’s date soon? I wanna try these.”
And a fourth tweeted: “Nando’s loaded fries is perfection.”
There are around 1,186 Nando's restaurants worldwide – with around 459 of these in the UK.
The chain was founded 36 years ago by Portuguese-born Fernando Duarte and South African-born Robert Brozin.
They launched their first diner in Johannesburg, South Africa back in 1987.
And now, Nando's has outlets all over the place – including Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.
