Kevin Hart’s latest prank was 98 percent effective.
Nick Cannon — who is expecting his eighth kid — teased that Hart’s anonymous prank gift of a condom vending machine didn’t sit well with the mothers of his children.
“One thing that was brilliant about it, it was the mystery of it, because I had up some baby mama drama, ‘Who sent you that? Who sent you that?’” Cannon, 41, told Entertainment Tonight. “So, I did have to do some real life stuff, and then when he came out and said it was him, everybody relaxed.”
Hart, 42, stood by his “beautiful” prank.
“It’s about complicating a person’s day, how do I make your day difficult? That’s a beautiful prank,” Hart said.
The “Masked Singer” host initially posted a photo of himself posing in front of the mysterious Magnums on Monday.
“Looks like somebody just sent me an early Valentine’s Day gift!! Vending Machine full of Magnums??♂️❤️,” Cannon captioned the Instagram post.
Hours later, the “Get Hard” actor owned up to the generous gift.
“I see u got my gift @nickcannon ….GOTCHA BITCH!!!!!! ?????….Now u don’t have an excuse because the condoms are free ??♂️??♂️☺️☺️ #PrankWars,” he wrote alongside the same photo of Cannon and his commemorative condoms.
Hart’s prank came a week after Cannon announced that he is expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi.
Just a few weeks prior, Cannon revealed the heartbreaking news that his and model Alyssa Scott’s son Zen died from brain cancer at 5 months old.
The “Wild ‘N Out” comedian previously explained that a therapist advised him to become celibate after Tiesi’s pregnancy news. Cannon embarked upon his celibacy journey after welcoming four children with three different women in less than a year and recently ended his journey in early 2022.
Cannon has six children: 10-year-old twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 4-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; and 7-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.
