Tonight on September 9, the National Television Awards are back for 2021, and we can't wait.

The best of British TV all gather together under one roof for the star-studded ceremony after multiple delays set the awards back twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the celebrations are well underway as the UK's hottest starts grace the red carpet for the first time in a while.

The NTAs, which are sponsored by OK! this year, will feature performances from the UK's charts' best, and will honour those who help make British TV so damn iconic.

As always, the line-up is fiercely competitive, with the likes of Line of Duty, The Crown, Love Island, This Morning and more all up for awards.

The coveted NTAs will be handed out in numerous categories, including best Serial Drama, best Challenge Show and best Newcomer.

How to watch the National Television Awards 2021

The NTAs 2021 will air live from London's O2 Arena on September 9, and will be hosted by comedian Joel Dommett.

Kicking off at 7:30pm, the show is set to last around two and a half hours, although stars will be arriving on the red carpet from 5:30pm onwards.

Us unlucky folks who haven't managed to secure tickets to the star-studded event will thankfully be able to tune into all of the action from home on ITV.

How to vote for National Television Awards winners

Voting for winners is possible through the National Television Awards website, and it's completely free.

To vote for free all you have to do is head to their website.

Alternatively, you can vote by calling 0905 647 2021, but calls will cost you 25p per minute plus the network access charge.

Callers are advised the call should take no longer than seven minutes, but you should ask the bill payers permission.

All the votes cast will be added to those cast in the first round and the results will be revealed live at the NTAs this evening.

However, it's important to note that all of the voting lines will only be open until 12pm on September 9.
