Psst: One of Walt Disney World’s Best Date-Night Spots Isn’t Even in the Parks
No matter if you’re a couple who love specialty cocktails, eating around the world at Epcot, or just enjoying all the fun rides together, date nights at Disney World are always extra magical. But when it comes to truly romantic vibes, did you know that one of the best date-night spots isn’t even in one of the four theme parks? Capa, a beautiful steakhouse at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, is the perfect backdrop for the ultimate Disney date night.
To get to the restaurant, you first get the opportunity to drive through Disney’s most exclusive neighborhood, Golden Oak. Tree-lined streets and perfectly manicured lawns help guide you to the entrance of the Four Seasons. Once you arrive and travel up to the 17th floor of the resort, you’ll notice the dark wood and pops of red welcoming you into the restaurant, which has floor-to-ceiling windows for sweeping views of the entire Walt Disney World Resort property. The bar and lounge area is first come, first served, and is a nice spot to grab a drink before sitting down for dinner. In fact, it boasts a fantastic happy hour Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m, with $10 pours of Spanish wines and $9 and $5 tapas on the menu.
On warm spring and summer evenings, ask to sit outside on the terrace for even better views of Magic Kingdom and Epcot. And if you don’t want to sit outside for the duration of your meal but still want to enjoy the fireworks that you’ll be able to see from three of the four theme parks (when they resume), let your server know and they can pace your meal accordingly! Just before the fireworks, you can walk outside to the terrace, where there is plenty of standing room to watch the show, before heading back inside for dessert.
The best thing about Capa is that you don’t have to be a guest staying at the Four Seasons to enjoy dinner. Just make a reservation through the website and show up on time for a romantic date night. Just note that the restaurant is only open Wednesday through Sunday. Ahead, find pictures of the restaurant, its food, and its views!
