As TMZ reports, multiple sources claim Selena is nearing a $1 billion net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she’s currently worth $800 million, citing her beauty line as the main reason for her growing fortune.

This prediction appears supported by a Bloomberg report that says Rare Beauty’s blush alone made $70 million last year, and it’s expected to sell three times the amount this year thanks to its viral popularity.
Selena referenced her makeup brand in a post celebrating her birthday. The Disney Channel alum encouraged her followers to donate to the Rare Impact Fund to celebrate her b-day.
“I am thankful for so much in my life and one of the things I am most thankful for is the work we’ve been able to do with the Rare Impact Fund through @Rarebeauty,” Selena wrote. “Because of YOU we’ve been able to raise awareness and increase access to mental health services for young people. This is my true passion in life.”
“People keep asking me what I want for my birthday, and I tell everyone the same thing please do not get me anything but if you want to do something for my birthday, please donate to the Rare Impact Fund,” she went on.
The success of Rare Beauty is even more striking when it’s noted that the brand was started in 2020 amid the COVID pandemic, a time when many businesses were struggling to stay open, let alone launch a new brand name.

The company has expanded to carry a full line of makeup products, including blushes, lip sticks, glosses, and more. Within its first year, Rare Beauty was valued at $60 million, and its total worth has continued to rise in the years since.
Selena continues to enjoy successful acting and music careers in addition to her work in the makeup industry. It was recently reported that she was on track to becoming the highest paid celebrity on Instagram, which would have her surpass Kylie Jenner, so it’s seems more likely than ever that Selena is on her way to billionaire status.
