Sky launches Black Friday deals for existing customers – and it the lowest price ever | The Sun

SKY has unveiled its Black Friday deals for customers and it includes offers on multiple products.

Black Friday is just around the corner and many shoppers will have already started grabbing deals or making wish lists for the big day.

And Sky customers will be able to grab some Black Friday deals.

Shoppers will be able to get discounts on Sky Glass, Sky broadband and Sky mobile.

The below offers for Sky Glass and Sky Broadband are available to new and existing Sky customers.

The Sky Mobile offers are only available to new plan customers.

All new offers taken up will form a new contract with Sky.

For last year’s Black Friday, Sky offered customers its broadband package for £25 a month but the service provider has cut that to £23.

Of course, do check for better prices from Sky rivals – you may get a better deal.

It’s also worth noting that you’ll be tied into a contract with any of these deals so make sure you’re ok to pay each month.

Here’s what Sky is offering for Black Friday.

Sky broadband

Shoppers will be able to grab Sky broadband Superfast fibre for just £23 a month on an 18-month contract.

Superfast 35 fibre broadband is better for households to be able to comfortably stream and browse on their devices.

Larger families may struggle with this, especially with children on multiple devices at once.

This package was released earlier this year, aimed at smaller households who want to cut costs.

The current price is £35.50 a month, so you could save yourself £225 across the contract.

But after 18 months, the price will jump to £35 and there is a £19.95 set-up fee for new customers.

You must also live in a fibre-compatible area – the offer is available now, until November 28.

In comparison, Virgin Media is offering Black Friday shoppers the chance to get its broadband-only package for £27 a month, but with no set-up fee.

The speed is 362Mbps compared to Sky’s 36Mbps.

The best option for you depends on the size of your home, location, devices and users so make sure you carefully consider your options.

Sky Glass and Sky Ultimate TV

Sky Glass is the telecom giant's dish-less service, relying entirely on broadband to bring live TV to your living room.

There's no need to make space for a set-top box either, as it's all built into the TV itself.

New and current customers can get Sky Glass with Sky Ultimate TV (which includes Sky Entertainment and Netflix), for only £36 a month.

The £36 is made up of an £11 fee for Sky Glass (usually £13) and a £25 fee for Ultimate TV.

After 18 months, Sky Ultimate TV will increase to £26 so your contract will go up by £1.

Sky customers can upgrade to Sky Glass while new customers will be able to sign up directly [check]

If you already have Netflix, then it’s worth seeing how much you’d save, as this offer comes with Netflix built in.

You’ll need to pay a £10 upfront fee on top of the monthly cost – the offer is available from now until November 28.

The £36 offer is only for a 43-inch Sky Glass TV on a 48-month contract – so make sure you’re in it for the long run.

It’s worth considering whether you’d save money on a Sky basic TV package and a separate Netflix subscription over this combined package.

For example, if you pay for a basic package of Sky TV at £34 a month and then £10.99 for Netflix’s standard package, you’d be spending £44.99 in total each month.

The Black Friday Sky Glass offer though would save you £8 a month.

Earlier this month, we reported on a deal that sets you up with £100 of free credit when you pick up the Sky Glass, which is Sky's very own television – prices start at £36 per month.

Sky has also reduced the monthly cost of its Sky Stream TV box to just £25 per month – that's an impressive monthly bill on a service that sets you up with Sky TV and Standard Netflix.

Rival Virgin Media has slashed its broadband prices by over £500 in a huge site sale, with its M350 package reduced from £57 to just £27 per month.

Sky Mobile

Sky mobile customers can get 50% off 60GB plans across all phones this Black Friday.

Shoppers could get the iPhone 14 from £42 a month with no upfront cost, or the Samsung S22+ for £40 a month – both with 60GB.

Both offers would come with a 36-month contract, so make sure you’re able to pay it for that long.

If you have the money to buy the phone outright, then you can also do so.

As well as this, you can get 25GB of data for just £12 per month with Sky’s SIM-only offer, giving you an extra 10GB of data per month.

You won’t be able to get the offer if you mix it with another mobile plan – it’s only available on new plans so you would be opening a new contract.

The offer is available now until 11.59pm on November 28.

It’s worth noting that if you’re already in a contract with Sky or another provider, then you will have to pay that off first – so make sure that would be worth it.

It’s also worth shopping around at other mobile providers first.

For example, Three is offering the iPhone 14 for £63 a month, there's no upfront cost and with 128GB of data.
