Snoop Dogg Gifts Former NFL Champ, Eli Manning, An Expensive Gold Chain For His 41st Birthday

It seems that Eli Manning has just officially become the new member of Death Row Records. To kick off the new year, rapper and actor Snoop Dogg gifted the former NFL Giants Player with a diamond-encrusted gold Death Row Records chain for his 41st Birthday. It is believed that the chain belonged to Snoop Dogg himself when he was a part of Suge Knight’s Deathrow Records in the mid to late 1990s. However, in June 2021, Death Row Records decided to make Snoop Dogg their new Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant, which is probably why the 17-time Grammy winner could be in the position to offer Eli Manning a Death Row Records pass.

Snoop flashed the copious piece of heavy metal as a special guest during a Browns vs. Steelers game on Peyton and Eli’s show, MNF on ESPN: Peyton and Eli on January 3. This just so happened to be the birthday of Eli Manning, who was turning 41. For those who don’t know, Snoop Dogg is a huge fan of the sport of football and even owns his own youth football league, called the Snoop Youth Football League. So it’s not unnatural to see the Dog Pound rapper sitting with two NFL Super Bowl champs having an in-depth discussion regarding the football climate.

The moment Snoop knew the younger of the two, Eli Manning, was celebrating his birthday, he lay open the pricey present he had prepared for him.

He declared, “Eli, I would like to present to you this Death Row chain for being so Hip Hop and being so Hip.” To which Eli jokingly replied, “Thank you, I’ll look good in that.”

Hanging from the chain is the signature golden pendant of a hooded man sitting in an executioner chair, similar to what Tupac, Dr. Dre, and other music artists who were signed to Death Row records wore. While TMZ or HipHopDx did not reveal an attached price to the piece of jewelry, it’s estimated to cost anywhere from $8,000 to $21,000. From now on, Eli Manning wouldn’t mind every day being his birthday!

While the kind gesture may seem like your typical birthday gift-giving, Snoop had other things in mind. After the rap and football icons laughed it up, Snoop made sure to mention the Superbowl Halftime show he will be taking part in alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige on February 13, 2022, at the Pepsi Halftime Show. With Snoop already creating a buzz around it, you can expect an epic experience for all it’s being hyped up to be.
