Don’t count on Jenelle Evans.
The reality star, 30, will not be appearing on the new reality show “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” — which combines “Teen Mom OG” and “Teen Mom 2” into one — after being unable to agree on a contract, TMZ reported Tuesday.
MTV reportedly wanted to sign the “Teen Mom 2” alum to an exclusive deal but her manager claimed that “it would have limited other career opportunities for Jenelle.”
However, that doesn’t mean the mom of three is abandoning reality television for good as she apparently “has a new dynamic series in development, (but is) keeping the concept under wraps for now.”
Her manager crowed that his client’s show will be picked up by a “major network.”
The star had previously tried to keep up her fame with a YouTube channel and most recently, launched an OnlyFans account where she posts content with her husband, David Eason.
This news comes after former co-star Leah Messer said she would love to have Evans back on the show.
“I think that I’m eager to see where she’s at in her life and whatever ultimately the executives decide is what they decide. I wish her the very best,” Messer told Page Six, though she hasn’t maintained a friendship with Evans, 30, since the latter was fired by MTV in 2019.
“I haven’t talked to Jenelle in a very long time. She was one of the original cast [members] of the show. And I knew her very well in that time,” she continued. “I don’t know [her] currently. Right now, I don’t have a relationship with her, honestly.”
Evans first rose to fame when she appeared on “16 & Pregnant” while expecting her son, Jace Vahn Evans. She then starred in “Teen Mom 2” alongside Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea DeBoer.
But her time on the series was not without controversy.
In 2019, the network cut ties with her after her husband David Eason admitted to killing their family dog for allegedly biting their daughter Ensley, who was 2 years old at the time.
The father of one was under investigation for animal cruelty by local authorities in North Carolina. MTV had already severed ties with Eason a year prior after he posted homophobic tweets.
Evans — who also shares son Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith — opened up about her battle with drugs in her 2017 book, “Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom.”
She also confessed to testing positive for the drug found in cannabis after giving birth to her daughter.
