Brad’s family released a heartbroken statement on Thursday night, while remembering a man who they said ‘lived life to the fullest’ but ‘was taken too early.’

‘He was a true renaissance man,’ his family wrote in an obituary. ‘He was not only interested in all life had to offer, but was gifted in it as well. Although he was taken too early, he lived life to the fullest. He was larger than life. 

‘Brad was loved by many and loved people back, a genuine friend, trusted colleague, and a dedicated husband and father, he will never be forgotten, and his legacy will go on.’ 

His other acting credits included Steven Spileberg’s hit drama Always, CSI, the Kirk Cameron-starring religious trilogy Left Behind, and the syndicated TV series Soldier of Fortune, Inc. 

The most recent role cited on his IMDb page was a 2015 cowboy film called Nail 32. 

The star, who was born on October 24, 1959, in Tuscon, Airzona, had stayed away from films over the last few years, but had been planning a comeback in the Western Treasure Valley – before it was shut down due to the writer and star of the film, Jay Pickett’s death.

In 2018, the actress was charged with one count of domestic violence and three misdemeanor counts of battery against a police officer. 

According to reports, her brother had called 911 because of a fight she was having with her then-boyfriend, racer Chris Heisser, and she allegedly kicked three of the officers after they tried to enter her home.

She dated fellow actor Richard Jodan, who is 25 years older than her, for many years until he died of a brain tumor in 1993.

In 2006, she tied the knot with a stockbroker named Tom Mahoney. She later gave birth to twin daughters in 2007, via in vitro fertilization.

The actress revealed in 2018 that she was in remission for anal cancer after undergoing treatment.

Daphne Zuniga is from San Francisco, California, and was born on October 28, 1962. As a teen, the now 59-year-old attended the Young Conservatory program hosted by the American Conservator Theater.

She moved to Reading, Vermont, after her parents divorced so she could live with her mom. After graduating from school, she attended UCLA, where she studied theater arts.

Her first movie role was in the slasher The Dorm That Dripped Blood in 1982, followed by The Initiation in 1984.

Her other early roles include Vision Quest, The Sure Thing opposite John Cusack, Stone Pillow (alongside Lucille Ball), Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs, the sequel to The Fly, and the drama-comedy Staying Together.
