LEANDRO TROSSARD has been “robbed” of a stunning strike for Arsenal at Leicester City.
The Foxes welcomed the table-toppers to the King Power this afternoon and thought they had gone behind in the 26th minute.
Foxes goalkeeper Danny Ward could only half-clear a corner with a punch as he went tumbling to the ground in a sea of bodies.
Possession was picked up by the Gunners as the ball found its way to the 28-year-old winger on the edge of the area.
The January signing from Brighton took a touch to set himself up and then fired an unstoppable strike straight into the net to seemingly break the deadlock.
However, VAR had other ideas and Trossard's joy turned to despair seconds later.

Referee Craig Pawson, after consulting VAR, overturned the goal due to sustained holding from Ben White on Ward in the build-up.
But even Match of the Day host Gary Lineker, a staunch Leicester fan, was left bemused over the decision.
He tweeted: “Arsenal have had a goal ruled out after a VAR intervention.
“As a Leicester fan, I feel relieved, but bemused by a decision that could not be described, under any circumstances, as a clear and obvious error.”

And Arsenal supporters were raging over the decision, with one tweeting: “They’ve just robbed Trossard of goal of the season.”
Another wrote: “What a disgrace honestly, keeper has a lot of time after bein held by White before Trossard shoots…”
A fellow fan blasted: “The keeper was completely free when Trossard shot, so whats this about? What an absolute joke the refs are in this league!! Fire everyone!”
And a fellow Gooner said: “Trossard just got robbed from scoring a great goal, VAR is a absolute Joke.”
It comes after Mikel Arteta fumed after Arsenal were issued an apology following the VAR controversy against Brentford.
Official Lee Mason, who has now left his role, came under fire when he failed to spot an offside in the build up to Brentford's leveller at the Emirates a fortnight ago.
Mason supposedly forgot to draw the lines to determine if Christian Norgaard was offside as he was looking at another incident in the build-up to Brentford's leveller in the 1-1 draw.
