WRESTLING star Bray Wyatt has reportedly died at age 36, Triple H announced.
WWE legend Triple H shared the tragic news on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.
"Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time."
The wrestler's cause of death has not yet been made public.

Bray made his debut in 2009
Windham Lawrence Rotunda, widely known as Bray Wyatt, was born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida.
Bray was the son of WWE Hall of Famer, Mike Rotunda, and the grandson of the professional wrestler and football player, Blackjack Mulligan.
In 2009, Bray made his debut at the Florida Championship Wrestling beating Brian Jossie.
Throughout his career, Bray competed in an array of WWE events including Smackdown! and SummerSlam.
In 2014, Bray went against legendary wrestler, John Cena in what was named the match of the year.
In 2019, Bray took home the Male Wrestler of the Year award at the WWE Year-End Awards.

The Rock is ‘heartbroken’
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson shared on X that he is “heartbroken” over the news of Bray Wyatt’s death.
The wrestler said he’s still “processing” Terry Funk’s death.
"Im heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family. Loved his presence, promos, in ring work and connection with @wwe universe.
"Very unique, cool and rare character, which is hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling.
"Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today.
"My love, light, strength & mana to the Rotunda family and Funk family during this tough, heartbreaking time."

Last televised match was in January
Bray Wyatt’s last televised match was at the Royal Rumble against LA Knight in late January.
He continued to wrestle at live events and dark matches after Raw through the ongoing weeks.
The Firefly Fun House star was later spotted in a WWE ring in February in Rockford, Illinois, nearly 90 miles west of Chicago.
He was due to fight Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but that bout never happened.

Fans discover devastating news
Fans across the world are waking up to the news that Bray Wyatt has died aged 36.
Taking to social media one fan said: "Saddened by the sudden passing of WWE's #BrayWyatt, aka Windham Rotunda, at just 36.
"His unique presence and captivating character brought joy to wrestling fans around the world.
"Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Bray Wyatt."

Meet JoJo Offerman
JoJo Offerman is a professional wrestler known for her role on the reality show Total Divas.
Born on March 10, 1994, the professional wrestler is the daughter of professional baseball player Jose Offerman.
In 2013, JoJo made her debut on Total Divas.
Apart from her career as a wrestler, she also worked as a ring announcer for WWE and previously RAW.
She and Bray Wyatt – real name Windham Rotunda – were in a relationship prior to his sudden death in August 2023.
On April 28, 2022, JoJo revealed via Instagram that the two were engaged.
In a post showing off her flashy ring, JoJo wrote: "A million times YES! I love you Windham and I can't wait to marry you (even though it feels like we're already…"

Details about what led up to Rotunda's death were immediately available, but Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful attributed it to a heart attack.
"I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues," he wrote.
"There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away."
Rotunda's official cause of death has not yet been confirmed by family or authorities.

Bray Wyatt co-parented with his ex-wife
While married, Bray and Samantha welcomed two daughters, Cadyn and Kendyl Rotunda.
While Samantha and Bray have moved on, the two seem to have worked things out as parents.
In June 2019, Samantha took to Instagram to speak on their parenting arrangements.
She wrote: "I am truly so thankful for both of these men and because of our team effort, that we are working on each and every day, my girls are growing into amazing little women (who will never ever date…ever, if these guys have any say).
"It's not always easy, but it's our life, and they are what matters!"

About Bray's ex-wife
Samantha Rotunda is a real estate agent from Florida.
She and Bray Wyatt met in college and fell in love. The two eventually tied the knot in 2012.
While Bray was married to Samantha, he met and began dating Jojo Offerman, who he was engaged to at the time of his death.
This resulted in Samatha filing for divorce in 2017.
Samantha has since moved on with a landscape laborer named Dan Pixley.

Cause of death not confirmed
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported per X that Bray died due to a heart attack as a result of a recent battle with COVID-19.

WWE icon died at 79
Terry Funk, another WWE legend, passed away just yesterday at the age of 79.
Funk was widely recognized as a WWE star and NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

'This is just me being me'
Bray Wyatt's triumphant return to WWE was emotional for fans to watch.
He said at the time: "I am incredibly grateful. I’m really, really nervous to be here. I never thought this would happen,"

Bray Wyatt had wrestling in his blood
Bray Wyatt came from a family of wrestlers as his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan was a legend in the sport.
His father Mike Rotunda and younger brother Bo Dallas were also wrestlers.
He led WWE's Wyatt Family from 2013 to 2019.

Death comes three years after best friend's
Bray Wyatt's death comes just three years after his best friend and fellow wrestler Jon Huber died.
Huber, known to fans as Brodie Lee died in 2020 due to a lung issue, his wife announced at the time.
Bray Wyatt was featured on the podcast, Out of Character with Ryan Satin after Lee's death and said: "It was out of nowhere. I wasn't prepared for any of that. I lost my childhood best friend. I lost Brodie. I lost my best friend from college."
