Chelsea 'offered Napoli star Hirving Lozano' with Arsenal and Newcastle also in transfer chase | The Sun

NAPOLI star Hirving Lozano has reportedly been offered to Chelsea this summer.

But the Mexican is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Newcastle.

Lozano, 27, has been at Napoli since 2019 after a £37million move from PSV Eindhoven.

He has gone on to score 30 goals in 146 games.

And Lozano has played a big role in this season’s drive towards the Serie A title.

However, the 64-time Mexico international is out of contract next summer.

Napoli look unlikely to extend Lozano’s current deal

And he could now be sold at the end of the season to prevent a free transfer in 2024, with Arsenal and Newcastle interested.

Italian journalist Ciro Venerato claims Lozano has been offered to several Spanish teams including Sevilla and Villarreal.

But Chelsea are also in the mix despite their potential Financial Fair Play woes.

The Blues have recorded a massive £121million loss for the past season.

Todd Boehly is ready to fight back against the Premier League by citing various reasons like Roman Abramovich’s sanctions and the free exit of Antonio Rudiger.

But he could still be forced to sell an entire XI of top names to balance the books.

Even so, Lozano could still be on the move to Stamford Bridge, with Napoli unlikely to command much of a fee as he enters the final year of his deal.

Venerato told Rai: “There are several clubs interested. Lozano has entrusted himself to an English agency who are trying to guarantee him a salary on par with the current one, which Napoli will see reduced in the future.

“The player has been offered to some English clubs, including Chelsea, but there is no lack of admirers in LaLiga, including Sevilla and Villarreal.”
