BURNLEY expect bids for Dwight McNeil — but will demand £40million.
The winger is on the wish-list of a few Premier League rivals with Everton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa all monitoring him.
The Toffees would have to raise funds, Palace sell Wilfried Zaha and Villa shift some of their squad for a bid to happen.
If the trio come in, they would have 22-year-old McNeil in the £20m class, but that may not be enough.
The Clarets are open to business but only if the price is right for their England Under-21 star.
Sean Dyche’s Burnley know they will have to trade McNeil at some point as they are determined to keep James Tarkowski and Ben Mee away from Newcastle.
Keeping the defensive duo means McNeil could be the one to raise funds.
Villa were linked with a move to McNeil in the summer but opted to sign Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen as a replacement for Jack Grealish instead.
Manchester United were also said to have had an interest previously but were deterred by McNeil's £35m asking price.

Burnley are currently in the relegation zone so Dyche will be keen to hold onto his biggest stars.
But McNeil has dropped in form and is yet to score this season and he has recorded just one assist.
He has been overshadowed by summer signing Maxwel Cornet so the club could decide to cash in on the youngster while his stock is high.
