AS Dundee face the prospect of falling into the Scottish Championship, skipper Charlie Adam's own fall to the ground has whipped Twitter into a frenzy.
The Dens Park star's dive during the match against St Johnstone has attracted plenty of criticism – and laughs.
One of those seeing the funnier side of it is England legend and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.
Adam hit the deck during his side's 1-1 draw against the Perth Saints.
The former Rangers, Liverpool and Blackpool midfielder beat opposing defender Tom Sang to the ball on the edge of the box but dropped himself to the floor under no contact whatsoever.
Adam was booked and as video footage surfaced of the incident, football fans on Twitter made their feelings known.

Elsewhere, Rangers have entered into talks with Belgian-based holding midfielder Abdoulaye Sissako.
It's believed the Ibrox side are favourites to snap up the Zulte Waregem star.
Gers scouts have been alerted to the impressive displays of the 23-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season and would be available on a free transfer.
Reports in Belgium have suggested Sissako has already started negotiations with the Europa League semi-finalists and is close to agreeing on a move to Glasgow.
Sissako has an option to stay for a further year at Zulte Waregem, but he is keen on a move after a season in which the Flanders outfit finished third bottom of the league.
After coming through the youth system at Auxerre, he joined Zulte Waregem three years ago.
He is the older brother of former PSG defender Moussa Sissako, who currently also plays in Belgium with Standard Liege.
Sissako has made 19 appearances for Zulte Waregem so far this season and scored two goals.
He was linked with a move to Greek side Panathinaikos in the January transfer window but it fell through.
