He beat the Epsom winner in the Lingfield Derby Trial when relishing some give in the ground. It wasn’t a bad effort in the big race and he definitely has more to offer.
ASYMMETRIC (2.25 Goodwood, nb)
He can give Alan King another big prize at the meeting. His form leapt to another level when he was beaten a neck in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket last time.
The ground was quick that day but it was slower when he won on debut here before following up at HQ. He doesn’t have to improve any further to win this.
JOAN OF ARC (3.35 Goodwood, treble)
She can burn off her rivals to land another Group 1 success. She dug deep to win the French Oaks at Chantilly last time on her first crack at this distance. She relished every yard and was going away at the line.
