Jesse Lingard announces next career move as ex-Man Utd star searches for new club | The Sun

FORMER Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has announced his next career move.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Nottingham Forest came to an end.

While his search for a new club continues, Lingard has announced he is launching his own team.

The attacking midfielder took to social media to tell fans that JLingz FC is coming shortly.

Lingard revealed the news, saying on social media: "New football team in the South Manchester area. Trials to be announced soon.

"JLingz FC. Heart of the Community."

Fans were excited and plenty of local sides are already keen to play a friendly against the ex-West Ham star's team.

Lingard is aiming to sign for a new club soon after training with MLS outfit Inter Miami over the summer.

He was linked with a move to DC United, who are managed by Wayne Rooney.

But his old Man Utd team-mate shut down the speculation, saying: "I don't know where that has come from. From my point of view we have no interest in signing him."

Meanwhile, Lingard has left the door open to signing for a Saudi Arabian club.

He played 20 times for Forest last season, scoring just two goals.

Overall, he featured 232 times for Man Utd, winning the FA Cup and Europa League with the club.
