Man Utd fans fume as Stoke flop scores OVERHEAD KICK for Real Madrid amid calls for De Gea to return | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED fans were left calling for David de Gea’s return last night.

That’s after a Stoke flop scored an overhead kick for Real Madrid against new goalkeeper Andre Onana.

United’s new £47million man always had big boots to fill, with predecessor De Gea winning the Golden Glove in the last of of his 12 years at Old Trafford.

And Onana’s first appearance in a United shirt left fans feeling nostalgic as Real Madrid cruised to a 2-0 win in Houston this morning.

Jude Bellingham, who had a bust-up with Lisandro Martinez, opened the scoring early on with a delicate chip over the Cameroonian.

And Onana was beaten again late in the day, this time by former Premier League flop Joselu.

The 33-year-old is spending the season on loan at Real following Karim Benzema’s transfer exit.

But he is best remembered by English fans for dismal spells at Newcastle and Stoke, where he managed just 11 goals in three seasons.

However, Joselu silenced any doubters in the crowd when he netted a gorgeous overhead goal.

Onana was left stunned as the ball sailed over his head following Joselu’s acrobatic finish.
