ERLING HAALAND was asked about his mindset by a reporter after his answer to a question before Manchester City's clash against Arsenal.
Arsenal ran out 1-0 winners thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's late deflected strike to deal the first major blow to the champions' title defence.
Mikel Arteta masterminded a way to limit City to just four shots at the Emirates, with Haaland having none.
But Haaland's answer in an interview he gave ahead of the match brought these stark figures into a new light.
Speaking to a Sky Sports reporter before the game, Haaland was asked what particular problems and challenges the Gunners would pose.
The former Borussia Dortmund ace replied: "I don't know I didn't think too much about it."

While he was still giving his answer the reporter interjected by asking: "Is that the right mindset?"
Haaland finished his answer by saying City would aim to play their own game, but some fans online were shocked at the statement, with some fans taking issue with the tone of the response.
One fan wasn't impressed with Haaland's approach, writing: "Arrogant guy."
A second joked: "Maybe if he thought about it he’d have planned how to escape Saliba’s pocket."

A third replied: "He didn’t do his homework."
Others failed to see the issue with what the Norwegian said, with one saying: "Don't really see anything wrong with his response."
A second wrote: "Can't blame him. They are treble champs and it comes with arrogance. Everybody is an underdog to them so it's us who need to think so much about them."
Another commented: "If he was my player, I’d expect him to respond like this to be honest. Nothing wrong."
The 23-year-old is once again leading the Premier League Golden Boot race with eight goals to his name at present.
However, he is experiencing a relative barren spell with no goals in his last three and just one in his last six.
Haaland was involved in a post-match scuffle along with Kyle Walker against members of Arsenal's backroom staff.
