What is the team news?

United have been handed a boost with Marcus Rashford set to be fit to start this weekend's clash against Tottenham.

The England star was on target in the 2-0 Europa League win over Granada but was withdrawn during the game due to a lingering foot issue.

Edinson Cavani provided a late cameo on Thursday and may get a chance to start in Anthony Martial's absence with Rashford back on the left.

    'PRIDE WAS HURT'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Man Utd's 'pride was hurt' after Tottenham came out 6-1 winners earlier on in the season.

Solskjaer said: "Yeah, I think the players will remember that game with a lot of pain.

"Our pride was hurt. The manner in which we lost, we were not ourselves, and we know that.

"We gave ourselves a difficult game by having 10 men. Pre-season was short and we were not up to the standard required, but we were so poor.

"I'm sure we will see some players looking to prove that they are better than that. The biggest thing we have improved on is our fitness levels. We were way short of them. It was our third game of the season.

"We got conned into a red card, that's something we need to be aware of. We cannot react like this. We know that in games, in these situations, you can be wound up and we have learnt a lot from that.

"I'm sure we will have a better performance this time around."

    HEAD-TO-HEAD

Having beaten Manchester United 6-1 earlier this season, Spurs are looking to record their first league double over the Red Devils since the 1989-90 season under Terry Venables.

Spurs could become the first team to record a Premier League double over Man Utd since Man City in 2018-19, while they could be the first side to do so against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man Utd side.

The last team to do a league double over Solskjaer were Ranheim against Molde in the 2018 Norwegian Eliteserien.

Manchester United have won just one of their last eight away Premier League matches against Spurs (D4 L3), a 1-0 win at Wembley in January 2019.

    GOOD AFTERNOON

And welcome to the live blog for Tottenham vs Man Utd!

Jose Mourinho welcomes his former side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with his side's Champions League hopes hanging in the balance.

Spurs, by the time of kick-off, could be six points behind rivals West Ham – if the Hammers beat Leicester.

And five points behind Chelsea, so today's game is a must-win against 2nd place Man Utd.

As for Man Utd, they've all but confirmed Champions League football for next season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are seven points ahead of 5th place West Ham with a game in hand, which is today's game against Spurs.

In terms of team news, Matt Doherty and Ben Davies will miss out for the home side due to injury.

But apart from the defensive duo, Mourinho's men are in good shape heading into the game.

Serge Aurier and Toby Alderweireld could return to the starting XI after missing last weekend's match against Newcastle.

Son Heung-min could also return to the starting line-up after starting from the bench last week.

As for Man Utd, Solskjaer will be without attacker Anthony Martial, with the forward picking up a knee injury.

Defender Eric Bailly is also due to miss out after testing positive for coronavirus.

The teamsheets are due to be released in half an hour so don't go anywhere!
