Amanda Holden shares Britain’s Got Talent beauty regime with seven assistants

With the Britain’s Got Talent final taking place on June 5, it’s all hands on deck for the popular ITV talent show.

As well as being a judge on the show Amanda Holden needs to make sure she pulls out all the stops to look fabulous, with a team of up to seven assistants getting her show-ready.

The 51 year old, who sits alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams on the judges panel, looks decades younger than her age, with her gym-honed figure and youthful visage.

She credits her youthful looks to her diet and exercise routine, however she doesn't mind the odd treat.

In an exclusive interview with OK!, she said: “I do look after myself, I run, I do yoga, I’m a vegetarian. But I do love a drink. I don’t deny myself anything,” she says.

“After lockdown and us all being denied our freedoms, I just think: 'Don’t deny yourself now, just enjoy life.' Everything in moderation, but if you want a glass of wine or a doughnut, have one. Life is too short. I’m not one of those 'all or nothing' people, I can’t live like that.”

She also shared her skincare secrets, saying: "The biggest thing for me is not using the same product all the time so I try to change everything up at least every three to four months. I also have a treatment called Morpheus Eight, which is basically stamping your face to make the collagen rush to it and give everything a lift. It’s amazing. I’ve done it on my neck and chest too."

In 2019, Amanda shared a behind-the-scenes video of a team of seven assistants getting her glammed up.

In it, she said: "We are backstage at Britain's Got Talent.. getting ready… I'm annoying everyone… pouring drinks. It's all very exciting.”

She often raises eyebrows with her daring outfit choices – with one particularly revealing Julien Macdonald gown, worth £11,000, garnering 633 Ofcom complaints in 2017.

The black sequinned gown was slashed to her waist with almost all of her chest on show, and plenty of cleavage.

Speaking about the complaints and the dress, she said: "That dress was hysterical – it was Julien Macdonald. I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together.

"But, look, I'm from a small-chest family, plus you know I'm 48 years old. It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about.”

She defiantly continued: “It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up,"

Another stunning gown Amanda wore for the show in 2019 was the spiderweb dress, which featured a dramatic train, and was semi-sheer on one side, with a spiderweb design covering her assets.

This particular outfit earned her nine Ofcom complaints, as some viewers deemed it "inappropriate."

Amanda rocked another risqué semi-sheer gown in 2019 which showed off her cleavage and a lot of leg with a waist-high slit and flowers all over it.

In 2020, she once again dashed the flesh in a dress that featured a large cutout across the chest and a long skirt with a thigh split, which Amanda paired with a pair of heel heels and her blonde locks styled in loose curls.

This outfit prompted 235 complaint, with some viewers even claiming they had seen her nipples.

Amanda hit back at the complaints on her social media, writing: "Mmmm, really? Who has nipples this close to their cleavage?

"FYI, a boned corset dented the girls all night. Surely there are more terrible and important things to write about.”

In 2020, she raised eyebrows in a tight hot pink latex dress, which she paired with matching heels.

One viewer was less than impressed, writing on social media: "What on earth possessed you to wear a rubber sex-dress @AmandaHolden? This is a family show, not Only Fans. I have switched this filth off #BGT."
