Anna Knight tracks 'dead' mum Cindy Beale in EastEnders

EastEnders fans are well aware that Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) isn’t as dead as everyone thought, and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) is getting closer to being on the same page.

Since the revelation that her mum is out there, Anna has been unable to put it to the back of her mind, as she wants to confront her mum, who she knows as Rose.

Dad George (Colin Salmon) has insisted that she drops this, but, as these new pictures show from coming episodes, Anna will do no such thing.

In a couple of weeks, Anna will speak to a private investigator, seeking out information on Cindy.

The investigator gets to work on the mission, so will Anna track her down?

It’s no secret that Cindy will be back on Albert Square, with actress Michelle already filming with Adam Woodyatt, who is also back as Ian.

What brings her back remains to be seen, but Anna’s actions certainly set the ball rolling.

But when the truth about Cindy’s true identity and everything beyond, the Knights are going to be thrown into chaos.

Is Anna going to react seeking her, or can she forgive her mum?

Viewers have already seen Anna find a clue, retrieving Cindy’s jewellery box from the bin, where Gina had dumped it earlier.

Pulling out a locket, she brushed her finger over the engraving of a date, which she had earlier revealed she had never understood.

The date on the necklace was December 9 1993, which hardcore EastEnders fans will know is the birthday of Cindy’s twins, Peter and Lucy Beale.

The plot thickens!

As part of all of this, Molly recently promised us that we will see a different side to Anna as the journey continues.

‘There will be a slightly more “Knight” side, and I think they can expect to see Anna being a bit more determined and a bit more mature as she steps into a different role in her family dynamic,’ she teased.
