While many are gearing up for Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette on June 7, other fans are already looking forward to Bachelor in Paradise. The show has yet to announce any official cast members that will be on the beach, but that doesn’t mean fans haven’t begun speculating. Bachelor Nation fans on Reddit have already started digging into who might be a contestant on Bachelor in Paradise — and some old familiar faces may be returning to ABC yet again.
Is ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ happening in 2021?
After a season hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bachelor in Paradise is officially happening in 2021. The show’s last season was in 2019, which was definitely a drama-packed one. Now, the ABC casting team has plenty of seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to determine the contestants on Bachelor in Paradise.
The show will be airing on August 16, but will be filming well before then. Here’s who fans are speculating might be going to BIP, based on their social media. Bachelor in Paradise is allegedly already quarantining its contestants.
These franchise stars might be ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ contestants, due to their social media activity
Fans on a Bachelor Reddit thread theorized who could be popping up in paradise based on recent social media activity — or lack thereof.
“Looks like Kristina [Schulman] might be going to paradise as well, she just posted an IG story on a plane,” one person wrote. Kristina’s last appearance in BIP showed her dating Blake Horstmann, who was also pursuing Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin.
Another fan on the thread noted that Tia Booth, who first appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, has been “oddly quiet” on her social media lately.
Someone else pointed out that Ivan Hall, who competed for Tayshia’s heart on The Bachelorette, has been “quiet on Instagram” as well.
One person wrote: “I feel like Kelsey, Tammy, and Victoria L. are all quarantining in Mexico. Since yesterday, there has been zero activity on each of their Instagram when there usually is.” The three past contestants were all on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. They didn’t have the opportunity to go on Bachelor in Paradise right after Peter’s season due to the pandemic.
A different commenter claimed that Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett are “def not going.” The person continued: “There’s no way [the powers that be] would have those two come in later in the game when they are the most popular and would bring in the viewership. Safe to say, if they aren’t the first on the beach, they aren’t going.”
Both Hannah Ann and Madison have been active on their social media platforms since BIP has allegedly been quarantining.
Which couples are still together from ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
While the last Bachelor in Paradise season was two years ago, there are some couples that are still together from the show. Most memorably, Caelynn Miller-Keyes broke up with Connor Saeli to pursue a relationship with Dean Unglert. The two currently live together in a Las Vegas house. Another couple from that BIP season is Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour. They are still together and engaged.
Notable couples from previous BIP seasons that are still together include: Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt; Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk; and Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon met on Bachelor in Paradise but became a couple off the show.
Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC on August 16.
