Naga Munchetty has been criticised by BBC Breakfast viewers after she interrupted a guest in Ukraine.
A woman in the crisis hit country called the morning programme to discuss the Russian invasion during Thursday's show.
However, Naga interrupted her as she opened up about her distressing situation.
The BBC host said: "Give me one moment, I just need to do something technical. You are watching BBC Breakfast on BBC One, the time now is 8:59."
Viewers watching at home took to their keyboards to share their views on Naga reading out the time during the interview.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Seriously BBC – interrupting that poor lady hiding in a cellar to tell us the time!!! #newlow #BBCBreakfast."
Another added: "If Naga had interrupted my heartfelt account just to let everyone know the time, I’d have hung up."
Earlier in the show, things took an unexpected turn as a politician Tom Tugendhat MP's daughter interrupted a live interview.
The chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee appeared on the programme to discuss the latest news on the Ukraine crisis.
However, things didn't go quite to plan as his daughter appeared on camera.
As the MP spoke to Charlie via video call, the little girl came into view of the camera and started tapping her father.
Charlie pointed out: "I'm sorry you've got an interruption there. Are you OK?"
Mr Tugendhat quickly turned to his little girl and signalled for her to be quiet before adding: "Sorry, go on."
"Are you OK to carry on? I'm just checking." Charlie asked.
Mr Tugendhat responded "I am, yes.".
The interview continued but its not the first time Mr Tugendhat's children has joined her father during a televised interview.
The Conservative MP was talking to Sky News from his home office in Tonbridge, Kent, last year when his son appeared asking his father if he could help him paint his face.
The smiling politician told his son to leave, telling him: "I’ll do your face painting in a minute."

Mr Tugendhat continued with the interview until he was interrupted for a second time, this time by his young daughter, Beatrice.
"Adam! can you be a little bit quiet please?” the MP pleaded with his son at one point.
The interview was concluded after a few minutes, when Mr Tugendhat apologised for the background noise.
