Strictly Come Dancing 's Alijaz Skorjanec wants to make it in Hollywood.

After quitting Strictly, the dancer is planning a move into acting.

He told the Daily Star: “Dancing in acting without any script. You are telling a story through movement. So I would love to do some acting.

“Hopefully I’ll get to do films. That industry is something that has always intrigued me a lot, so I would love to do that.”

Aljaz is also up for starring in one of TV’s soaps.

The hunk presented a gong at the British Soap Awards last weekend.

And he said: “One day hopefully I will be there as an attendee from a soap!”

Aljaz starred on Strictly for nine years and became one of its most popular pro dancers.

Now he hopes that fame will help him make it as an actor.

He said: “I am looking forward to the future. I want to do something different and new. Strictly has given me an amazing platform and I want to use it well.”

This comes after Sara Davies revealed Aljaz had a secret “bromance” with her husband Simon.

Alijaz waltzed his way through the competition one last time while being partnered up with Sara before hanging up his dancing shoes for good.

But it wasn’t always plain sailing for the couple as her entrepreneur husband initially felt “ratty” about their bond on the show.

She told the Daily Star: “Aljaz was coming home every night and the kids just thought he was the coolest person ever.

“I realised that not once has I considered what Simon had done that week or how he had been. I thought, Oh my god, I've really got to think about what does he need through this as well and how can I how can I support him as well?‘"

However, after their first day of training, Aljaz had managed to win over her husband.

Sara explained: “He wanted to have that time with Simon. [After the first night] I found the two of them sitting on the sofa with a beer watching the football chatting with the kids.

“Obviously because he’s done this for nine years, he was obviously so hyper aware of, ‘If this is really gonna work and I'm gonna be able to do drive Sara to do all the work I needed to do, I need to get the whole family on board.’"
